This was the first picture I took with the s400, while geocaching (the lizard is on top of the hollow log where the first waypoint container was hidden). Click on it for the gigantic version -- it's 427K, so I'm not crazy enough to inflict it upon you, but I think it's worth it for the amazing scale detail. The small version is really quite dull by comparison.
This was an impressively camouflaged lizard at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Unfortunately I stepped on his cousin while rock-hopping a few minutes later.

I love variegated foliage, and Alaska nasturtiums are among my favorite plants. Taken at an exhibit in the Carlsbad Flower Fields -- they don't grow like that for me!
