Comet Holmes

I saw Comet Holmes! With my own eyes! Even with the moonlight and haze and everything! I don't know how much it's moving night to night -- it may be an easier target in a few days when the moon is interfering less. But right now, it's on a straight line between the brightest star in Perseus and Capella (much closer to Perseus). And it looks like a fuzzy blob! So fuzzy! So blobby! Go look at it. (Binoculars make it more fun, but you can still say, "What's that fuzzy thing?" without them.)

This finder chart may be useful, since it just points out the relevant stars, which may be among the few you can see with a nearly-full moon.
