I feel like I've been running around nonstop for weeks. First work got busy, then my mom visited (which was great, but also busy, which is my fault for wanting to do so much, but still), and then there was Ken's birthday, and work was busy again, and I had a lot of laundry to do, and I felt vaguely unwell for a few days. I slept nearly twelve hours Thursday night, then spent Friday groggy as a result. Today wasn't much better. I suppose it's a combination of stress and weird sleep patterns and post-holiday letdown and maybe very mild symptoms of whatever virus is going around work. It seems to happen to me a few times a year, where I feel like I'm on the edge of coming down with something for several days but never get a full-blown cold. It doesn't help that I have nothing to look forward to for the next several weeks but lots of work and getting my wisdom teeth pulled.
But I finally got a chance to look at some of the photos I took while my mom was here, and there are some nice ones. I don't have the energy to process them all right now -- and I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, since I'm still sitting on my 4th of July firework photos -- but here's one:
Hummingbirds aren't very easy to photograph, so I'll take what I can get.
