The palmaris longus is a tendon that a significant minority of people don't have. You can tell if you have one by looking at the inside of your wrist, touching your thumb to your pinky, and flexing the wrist toward you a little. If a tendon bulges out below the center of your palm, that's it. (The link above has a very good illustration if that wasn't clear.) Poll time!
